The Ministry of Finance Hirshabelle was formed on 08th March 2017 by a presidential decree. The Ministry of Finance was established to implement the Public Financial Management (PFM) system so that it can better co-ordinate with other Ministries in ensure all government revenues and expenditures are controlled and managed through a Treasury Single Account (TSA) for better service delivery to the public.
